Misungsan Natural Recreation Forest, located in Goryeong-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, was designated as a natural recreation forest by the Korea Forest Service in 2009 to meet the public's demand for forest recreation, and was completed in September 2012 after a four-year project period. Misungsan Natural Recreation Forest is equipped with accommodations made of eco-friendly materials such as the Forest Culture Recreation Center (Building 1), Forest House (Building 2), and Red Clay House (Building 2), as well as convenient facilities such as forest restrooms, small playgrounds, walking trails, and hiking trails. We will continue to expand various forest culture and recreational facilities. In addition, Misungsan Mountain Natural Recreation Forest is located in Goryeong, the ancient capital of Daegaya, so there are tourist attractions near the recreation forest where the brilliant cultural heritage and traditions of the Daegaya era are alive and well.
