Information

On the mountain surrounding Goryeongeup, a hillfort of Daegaya times is found. On the mountain ridge from this hillfort to the south, the tombs of Daegaya kings, which was made from about AD 400 to 562 when Daegaya was ruined, are lined. Also, over 200 large and small tombs, which seem to be the tombs of the Royal Family and the aristocrats, are positioned as well as Jisanri No. 44 and No. 45 tombs, which was the first excavated tombs in which the living had been buried with the dead in Korea. This place is the largest Daegaya tumulus site from which king’s gilt bronze crown and lots of brilliant accessories including golden earrings were excavated as well as the unique earthenware, ironware, and horse equipment of Daegaya.
