Gayatgo Village is a village of Gayageum that plays the beautiful melody of 12 strings. It is a resort village with lodging facilities, experience facilities, and a large-sized cultural hall in the cozy, friendly environment. Jeongjeonggol is a village attached to Kkoaebin-3(Sam)-ri of Daegaya-eup. Ureuk, a musician appointed by King Gasil of Daegaya, built and performed Gayageum here to make beautiful sounds. That was why the village was named Jeongjeonggol. In Chinese, the village was written Jeongjeonggok (丁丁谷) or Geumgok (禁谷) with 禁 from Gayageum and 谷 from town.
